MAD Aerospace selects Mistral Engines
November 29th 2017, Shefford, Canada
MAD Aerospace Corp. has selected the G300 rotary aircraft engine from Switzerland-based Mistral Engines to propel the Twin-X6 aircraft.
With its relatively small cross-section and packing 300 hp, the G300 is particularly well suited for the Twin-X6 twin-nacelle pusher configuration. By offering a multi-fuel capability, a 3000-hours TBO target and a lower engine assembly part-count, the G300 is promising to reduce dramatically aircraft operating costs compared to actual general aviation engines.
MAD Aerospace Corp. is committed to offer a clean-sheet aircraft design with a powerplant solution truly made for 21st century aviation.
