Shefford, October 11th 2018

MAD Aerospace is pleased to announce that Cert Center Canada (3C) is appointed as Applicant’s Representative under Transport Canada to participate in the certification activities of its new Twin-X6 aircraft program.

Designed for Certification

3C is an Independent Flight Test and Certification Design Approval Organization (DAO) headquartered in Saint-Bruno, on the outskirts of Montreal. Launched by Marinvent’s sister company Flight Test Centre of Excellence (FTCE) in July 2016 at the Farnborough International Airshow, 3C addresses the challenges faced by aerospace companies as they try to control and manage the substantial cost, schedule, and risk associated with airworthiness and certification for aerospace products.

3C’s major contribution is to help us reduce the risk, life cycle cost, time to develop, and time to certify our unique aircraft. The company specializes in Flight Test Services, Systems Engineering, Human Factors Engineering, Flight Test & Certification Training, Software Development, Government Procurement Services and Civil Certification. The team behind 3C has a stellar record of accomplishments in aircraft certification and has been awarded numerous Supplemental Type Certificates (STC), ranging from single display upgrades to complete cockpit retrofits, FMS, INS AHRS, autopilot interface, radar, lightning detection, EGPWS, T2CAS, and RVSM certification.

The Twin-X6 is a twin-engine, six seats amphibious general aviation aircraft with a unique patented configuration. Its certification program is planned to launch in 2022 and is expected to continue until the end of 2024.
